The plants grew but no blooms or tomatoes/peppers. I watered, fed nutrients and pruned. Hopefully the next kit will do better. (Posted over a month ago)

I never had any problems with this one. It did take the hot peppers a bit longer to grow than the tomatoes, but it did produce. I made sure to pollenate the tomato and pepper flowers by using a q tip to go from flower to flower, it even rebloomed and I got second bunch of tomatoes. (Posted over a month ago)

I purchased a six spacer I tried the salads and not one of the seeds produced as well as the gourmet herbs. what am I doing wrong? it has enough water at all time and I add the tablet when the indicator light come on but nothing has grown, After a month and no result I am tring another box of italian herbs, hope they produce. The tomatoes grow quickly, but the pepper takes quite a bit longer to get started and never seems to catch up because the tomatoes kind of hide the light for the pepper; however, they still produced and lasted quite a long time. (Posted over a month ago)

Love my space saver aero 6 garden. Easy to set up and maintain. All my herbs grew as expected and I have a great start with my fiesta garden plants. Fresh ingredients turn regular recipes into a gourmet tasting meal. I also enjoy watching the fast growing progress too. Seem to grow before your eyes. (Posted over a month ago)

This product started to grow well, but them just went south from there. The plants did not grow upright, but grew sideways and flopped over. After 25+ weeks, I have them pathetic looking plants that never bloomed (not one flower). I am very disappointed again, as I continue to try different kits and very few grow well. All the pepper ones do not do well. (Posted over a month ago)

13 weeks after planting I still don't see any blooms and I called customer service several times during the 13 weeks. Each time I was offered a different excuse as to why they weren't blooming. the first time I was told I need to wait a few more weeks. The 2nd time I was told to add epsom salts to the water every 2-3 weeks. The third time I was told the water was too warm, there shouldn't be any smoking around the plants, I needed to buy new grow bulbs. The tomato plants look like they are dying because the majority of the leaves are brown, and the pepper plant looked like it was going to bloom, but now has tiny black balls where it looked like the blooms were going to be. Finally I was so frustrated with the whole process I asked for an herb kit, [...] (Posted over a month ago)

Love my Aerogarden and have given it as gifts to many people. The Salsa kit is very good - people are fascinated by it when they visit. Tomatoes are tasty and the jalapenos have the right "bite" to them. Just wish that cilantro could be part of the kit but I don't believe that's possible because of the way these plants grow. Otherwise, it's an excellent kit. (Posted over a month ago)

I have two aero gardens. I use one for herbs and one for tomatos and peppers. Im thinking of purchasing a third. I love them. I live in N.ILLinois where the winters are hard but I still can continue my gardening indoors with the Aero Gardens. The second one I purchased was the Pro 200. I love it! Thank you. I love the aerogarden and now have two of them. One is growing fullsized sweet peppers and the other is currently growing the salsa garden. My only problem is that the peppers seem to drop their flowers at first even though I am trying to pollinate them. So far no chili peppers yet on the salsa garden. Lots of little tomatoes are growing on both tomato plants. I hope to see some peppers soon. Suggestions for the peppers would be appreciated. (Posted over a month ago)

I purchased the salsa pack with my husband in mind. He loves salsa and chips. He has to watch his salt intake, I feel that salsa is healthier than other snacks. It was easy to put in and has grown well. i cannot wait for tomatoes and peppers. We absolutely loved the herbs. Our food was spiced -up very well without salt. I feel like I need two aero gardens to grow a couple types of plants. (Posted over a month ago)

I purchased the aerogarden and salsa pack for my daughter and her fiancee. They love salsa and love the aerogarden. They have grown and used many of the gormet herbs. My daughter will text pictures of the plants as they grow. They love it. (Posted over a month ago)

I purchased three aero gardens for my husband over a year ago and he has been like a kid in a candy store. We can not keep cherry tomatoes because our daughter will eat them as fast as they ripen. There is enough salad for three salads a night and the herbs picked fresh are the best, no more dried unflaverful herbs. My son is a gourmet chef and has requested at least one for himself. I could not have been more pleased with this purchase. Thank you aero garden, you have faithful customers for life. PS All of our friends have to "play" with our aero gardens when they come over, so you may get more customers. (Posted over a month ago)

This is great! So good I now have 2. The salsa one sprouted before it said it would. This is a great way to have herbs, etc in the winter when it's snowing outside. Usually when I plant herbs outside forget about them. Now they are right there easy to use. Great product. (Posted over a month ago)

I love growing tomatoes but I'm terrible at it. In fact, I've planted tomatoes in the ground in my backyard, gone through all the trouble of fertilizing, watering, spraying, and never had the plant put out ONE tomato let alone grow at all. I planted my aerogarden tomatoes and peppers and to my surprise, they GREW! My pepper plant has huge healthy green leaves and is doing very well. I was not able to completely escape my curse of not being able to grow tomatoes as only one of the two seed pods did well. This doesn't mean it was the fault of Aerogarden at all. Both seed pods sprouted and grew. However, in one of the two seed pods one sprout I kept after thinning the plants turned out to be a weird mutant that put out weirdly shaped leaves and stems and stopped growing when it reached two inches. I plucked it out and planted basil in the hole instead. Even though the basil isn't growing as fast as if I had planted an herb garden kit, it's still growing and doing well next to my peppers and tomatos. Hurrah for Aerogarden! They work! They work! The plants are growing so fast, I can almost watch them grow. Having the Aerogarden is such a joy; the light provides, well, a lovely light, and the plants are healthy and fast-growing; it's fascinating to see the rapid progress. (Posted over a month ago)

Establishing my salsa garden as an honored staple in my kitchen was a great deal of satisfaction. Following the directions provided with your salsa seed kit will result in delicious vegetables that grow quickly and easily and provide great southwest flavors to any dish. The jalapenos will rival the spicy intensity and saovry of any outdoor, garden grown variety. Thanks aerogarden for a great product! (Posted over a month ago)

Of all the gadgets and various items that are in our kitchen, the one that always gets everyone's attention is always our Aero Garden. We absolutely LOVE it. Yeah, if you truly want some vegetables right away, you can always get in your car and drive down to your local market and pick some up. But hey, come on now, what fun is that? Watching our own garden grow, right there in our own kitchen, is truly the Number 1 reason why we bought one of these. We have tried just about every type of vegetable Kit that they have available. But our favorite so far has been the Salsa Garden Kit, especially the peppers. We just pick a few fresh grown cherry tomatoes, along with a couple of nice little peppers, chop those up with a small sweet onion, and then add a little cilantro, and the next thing you know, the party begins. You just can't help from getting out the blender and mixing up a large batch of Margaritas every time. Honestly, it doesn't get any better than this. Once you try this great little Kit, you'll know exactly what I mean. You’ll love it too, and I guarantee it. Cheers my friends! (Posted over a month ago)

These plants are outrageous. Not for me but for my boyfriend. He is an avid cook being single for many years. Now we are cooking together and he is teaching me! We love these plants and he continually thaks me for his aero-gardening. I am going to buy more as gifts for family and friends! (Posted over a month ago)

I planted a herb garden first in December and it was still producing several months later. When we were leaving on a trip, I didn't want to leave it running unattended. I transplanted the herbs to the outdoor garden. They are still going strong. I did the same with the cherry tomatoes and they are still producing. My salsa garden is already an inch and half tall after just a few days. I am expecting great results from it also. It might be helpful to let people know that the plants can be transplanted if the need arises. (Posted over a month ago)

I have been using my garden almost constantly since I got it over a year ago. I have had lettuces, a couple of herb gardens, and cherry tomatoes. Now I have the salsa garden and it's wonderful. I can't wait to make some fresh salsa for my family. My grandkids love to watch what Mimi's got growing on the counter now. It's all wonderful. (Posted over a month ago)

This is my third kit and the one I wanted to try the most. I have never been successful in outdoor gardens but my aerogardens have grown herbs and vegetables beautifully. I can't wait for the tomatoes and peppers to be ready to harvest. Suggestion: Would it be possible to add a cilantro plant in among the tomatoes and peppers? (Posted over a month ago)
Review by Amy G.
I love my aero garden and this is the 4th seed kit I have used. The only complaint or suggestion I would have is that a Cilantro plant should be added. I was a little disappointed to see that there were only three pods in this kit (2 tomato and 1 jalapeno). There would be plenty of room for Cilantro (if they can all grow together well). Overall, I have loved my aero garden and will continue to use it. (Posted over a month ago)

I purchased this kit just a month ago, so my plants are not yet ready to harvest. That said, I recommend this kit for two "worry free" reasons: 1) Its easy to grow tomatoes and peppers with this kit even if you do not have a green thumb or live in a location that is conducive to growing these plants. 2) In light of the recent Salmonella scare, what better way to avoid worry than to grow your own? The pepper got too tall for my original aerogarden, it would work better with the extended arm. That said, the plants are great, very vigorous, and as always, the garden is super easy to use. I lost the book that came with it, so wasn't sure how to prune the pepper-it would be nice if this info was available online. (Posted over a month ago)

I think the salsa kit was great. It provides a steady harvest of delicious tomatoes and spicy little jalepenos for considerable amount of time. Although consistent pruning is necessary, what do you expect from an in-home, self-contained garden? I give it a big thumbs up! (Posted over a month ago)

I asked my husband to get me a grow light for Christmas, just a light. He got the AeroGarden instead. Wasn't really thrilled at the time. But, since I put it together and started using it, it is so much fun to watch nature in my house. The whole idea is so simple, anyone can do it. Love the product.Bought one for my mom who loves tomatoes. (Posted over a month ago)

How cool is it to grow peppers and tomatoes in your kitchen? real cool!! I live on top of a mountian that has some snow left thru july, we have maybe a month growing season and that's on a hot year so to be able to grow hot weather loving veggies like tomatoes and peppers right in the kitchen with no maintenance is a blessing. I am enjoying watching these grow. The book steps you through everything and they grow right on schedule. I know that you can only have 3 plants growing at a time due to space limitations, but they should still double the seed pods included for a second crop. (Posted over a month ago)
Review by Stan B.
This was a nice change from the standard herb garden that comes with the gardens. Nice tasty tomatoes and hot little peppers. A nice mixed garden to get peppers and tomatoes to use in cooking. The only downside was the lack of 7 plants. Only 3 plants 'allowed' per garden. It was a surprise,I didn't see in the seed description that it only had 3 seedpods in the kit, it was a let down. Nice sturdy plants, and fast growing. (Posted over a month ago)
