We are thrilled to be a part of helping Mercy Housing bring fresh produce to their residents. Mercy Housing is one of the nation’s largest affordable housing organizations. They are doing great work to help our local communities thrive, and part of that is providing programs that support healthy living.
We delivered new AeroGardens to their senior resident’s facilities in Westminster, Colorado and to their family facility in Denver. Anne and Emma took a break from the lab to show the residents how to set up their gardens, how to maintain the herbs, lettuce and veggies they’ll be growing and answered very probing questions about hydroponics from the young kids in the youth program 🙂
With 17 locations in Colorado alone, we only wish we could’ve delivered even more gardens to the families and seniors at other Mercy Housing locations. But we look forward to coming back and bringing more green to their common spaces and seeing the progress their plants have made.
