2 very ripe medium avocados, mashed
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 green jalapeño pepper, finely chopped
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp finely chopped fresh cilantro
½ tsp salt
1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
Tortilla chips

Preparation:  Makes 1 1/2 cups dip
Mix avocados, onion, garlic, jalapeño, lemon juice, cilantro and salt. Stir in tomato. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.  Serve with tortilla chips.
