Yes, you can!  For this purpose we offer our Grow Anything Kit, which comes with everything you need to plant and grow EXCEPT the seeds: grow baskets, grow sponges, labels, domes, liquid plant food, and a Grow Anything Kit Guide, which contains general suggestions for planting.  You can save money by purchasing the 25-pack or 50-pack which provide enough material to create several seasons worth of growing!

Just about anything that grows above the ground can be planted in an AeroGarden.  Some seeds will be more successful than others, but experimenting is part of the fun!

Plants that grow beneath the ground, such as carrots and beets, can be started in the AeroGarden but must be transplanted to an outdoor shortly after sprouting.  

Be mindful of the amount of grow space available - some of our AeroGardens provide 12" of growing height, others offer 24" of growing height.  Check your seed packet for information about size of plants at maturity.

If you have never planted anything in your AeroGarden before, you might want to begin with one of our pre-seeded kits until you get the hang of it. Our Gourmet Herbs and Salad Greens Seed Pod Kits are very easy to grow, and a great choice for first-time growers.
