Rated 1 out of 5 by from An exercise in frustration! The directions on how to put it together are terrible! In addition, one of the shelves was missing the pre-drilled holes necessary for assembly. And the parts are not labelled- it's a guessing game as to what each part is and where it goes. If you have the patience to finally get it put together, you'll discover that the top shelf is too tall to easily check on the top planter. I put an artificial plant there instead. This bamboo garden wall shelf was a good idea that went horribly wrong!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shelves Wasn't clear to me but you get a set of these shelves. Two to a box. Since I got these on sale it's a stellar deal compared to what you see on Amazon for bamboo shelves. Also since they're really tall and shallow it doesn't eat up the whole room and with a hanging grow lamp I bought to go with it things worked out great. Lots of reviews about how hard these were to put together, it's kind of laughable as it's designed to only go together one way. It's hard to mess up if you've ever built an IKEA night stand. Super simple. Downside is they're not the greatest craftsmanship. Shelves are glued in spots that should be screwed or nailed. I nailed in the shelves with some thin nails to bulk it up a bit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Shorter Plants / Consider a Light Screen The assembly instructions are minimal, but it was no problem to assemble if you enjoy puzzles. I would recommend placing in an out-of-the-way corner for safety. 4 stars for being light-weight. I found the combined lights from a Bounty, a Harvest, and 2 Sprouts placed on the shelf to be excruciatingly bright. So I purchased a light-weight, 3-panel black rattan screen to diminish the light, and it works great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from buyer beware I purchased three of these to display my AeroGardens after looking online and in local stores for aesthetically pleasing options. When the box finally arrived I assembled the shelves. It took some time, the pieces are predrilled but fiddly, and, one of the bolt receivers was missing to secure the top to the bottom. I hope AG will send me a part to make my shelf sturdy. Once I got the garden together I placed my Bounty on the bottom , Harvest touch in the middle and slim on top, similar to the product description page. But my bounty is limited to extending only 18” vs. the full 24” available. I am disappointed. I contacted AG and they are trying to make it right, but buyer beware. If you intend to use a bounty on the lower shelf you will not be able to fully extend it unless you modify the unit. Once the time is taken for assembly, the prospect of disassembling and returning is daunting and probably near impossible. Pros are it is minimally packaged, aesthetically pleasing to look at, will hold three gardens. Cons are that it has QC issues in finishing, assembly, and doesn’t work as the advertisement would imply. If the distance between shelves was published this would make it much more apparent to consumers that this won’t allow for full light extension on the Bounty

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lightweight and assembly is not easy It worries me to have 3 aerogardens on this shelf. It is not sturdy and easily goes side by side. Also, the assembly is a nightmare. The pieces need to be labeled with a small sticker that says A, B, D etc. This shouldn't be so difficult to assemble. I had to call customer service which took forever because I couldn't figure out which pieces were which over the phone. The actual pictures of labeled pieces are 1 in x 1 in. This doesn't show the detail needed to identify parts. A small simple sticker would help greatly. Also, consider lowering that top shelf even by just a few inches. Getting to the herbs on the top shelf and watering is difficult. Suggestion: Lower all the shelves and have the very top shelf be for a watering can, clippers, nutrients etc. Overall, just not happy. Hoping a new moved comes out that is easier to assemble, sturdier and better quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good shelf, BUT The main reason to have a Bounty is to use it extended all the way for tall plants. Even though the description states it will hold a Bounty; this will not hold a bounty that is extended all the way so I don’t place the bounty on it. I learned this from an Amazon ad. The dimensions should be placed in the description.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bamboo Shelf The bounty does not extend all the way as advertised. The instructions to put together is very poorly written. You have to lay on the floor to see the screen on the older bounty’s

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard to put together Aero garden wall shelf assembly instructions. There are eight tall posts for the bottom unit and four for the top unit the top units are shorter than the bottom units. Divide them into two sets. For the top unit there is a back and a front. The back two have a small metal attachment to hang I believe from a screw on the wall. Match a front with a back noting that there is a hole in each unit one of which is recessed to hide the screw head of the screw. Pass a screw through that hole and screw into the square post which is like no other. Do the same for the other side. It does not matter which side you start from just be sure that the screws heads go into the recessed side. Now take the smaller shelf which has the AeroGarden logo on the front and place one screw most easily at the back as the shelf fits flush with the back, Don’t worry about alignment of the slot as that will happen fairly naturally as you tighten the screw. Insert the screw on the back post on the other side and then continue with the front two screws. The reason to do the back screws first is is that it’s fairly obvious where the screws will meet the hole on the shelf because the shelf is flush with the back posts. Now for the assembly of the bottom unit there are four posts the two back posts have square bottoms the two front posts have slanted bottoms. Take one of the back posts and attach it to the medium shelf with the metal fittings in the cut out portion of the top facing back. Just like the top unit all shelves are flush with the back posts. Attach the other back post to the middle size shelf. Now attach the front posts being sure to put the screw through the side of the post with the recessed hole to hide the head you will be all right. Now proceed to attach the bottom, largest shelf. Set the bottom unit on the floor upright and proceed to attach the top unit with eight machine screws. Hope this helps.  As to the unit itself. The space above each of the lower shelves is the same and not sufficient for the full height of a bounty so you will have to more aggressively trim. As noted by another reviewer, I would not use the top shelf for a garden but rather for supplies. I have three units, the outside units have gardens, the inside one has autofill water tanks.
