AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
Lettuce is one of the fastest-growing indoor crops and it's a staple. Who doesn't love to be healthy with delicious home-grown lettuce, or add a fresh leaf of romaine on their sandwich, or a salad of tasty arugula? And with AeroGarden, you can enjoy delicious Spring greens all throughout fall and winter! As a general rule, never prune more than ⅓ of any plant at once.
Different types of plants take different amounts of time to germinate and grow. In general, we’ve found these germination timeframes to be consistent:
- Flowers take about 7-12 days
- Salads: 5-8 days
- Herbs: 5-15 days
- Fruiting vegetables (such as tomatoes and peppers): 7-14 days
If any of your seed pods don’t germinate after 21 days, contact us so we can send out a replacement for you under our 100% germination guarantee.
After each planting, we recommend cleaning and sanitizing your AeroGarden for the best results.

Faster, Healthier Seedlings with Aerogarden
We have ten (10) Aerogarden's, (6) Harvest 360's, (1) Harvest 36 Elite, (2) Farm 12 XL's and one (1) Farm 24 XL. The Harvest 360's seed trays hold (22) seed pods and the farms hold 85 for the Farm 12 and 170 for the 24 XL. We bought three 360's originally and tested them head to head starting seeds from the same pack against traditional seed starting methods with heat trays, grow lights etc.. The seedlings grow 4 - 5 times faster and stronger using the Aerogardens. We exclusively use the Aerogardens now and can start just under 500 seeds at a time. We can now easily grow enough for families and friends.

Pretty good for starting seeds fast
The seed starting kit is great. However, I wish AG would sell the little tiny rubber pieces separately. There are two on the back that I guess are for if you hook up the aerator? And the piece that covers the hole where you refill water. Theoretically you are moving this top around a lot more than your average AG plastic tray top. I lost a water cap and one of the back rubber caps. How hard would it be for AG to charge $5 for a replacement?? Then my kit would look new again and keep out all the light!! Otherwise I generally like this system. A lot of plants have a hard time being transplanted, I haven't quite figured out how to do it right, even with a long hardening off period. Hopefully I'll crack the code eventually!

Seed starting system for Harvest 360
I wanted to start lettuce indoor so I could enjoy some salads while waiting for the weather to war up. I used the seed starting system on my Harvest 36, putting several of my seeds into each sponge. Within 2 days every single seed had sprouted! It has been a week, and the plants are taller than I expected. I am very impressed with both my Harvest 360 and the seed starting system.

Researched hydroponic units these are the easiest to clean and simple to maintain. I refered theses units to my brother inlaw for his 70 year old mother and she loves them. Like i said easy and simple . Great units all of them i have 13

Start your Garden with Aerogarden
This is the second seed starting system I've purchased. Both my husband and I have an Aerogarden. We love them. We used them last year for the first time and were very impressed by the quality and size of the plants we got from them. Our tomato plants were higher, and more productive than any other year we've planted. We started our garden plants again this year and they are flourishing!

I bought a new one sfter my last one finally died. This one has the same issues that I thought they would have figured out by now. The plugs don't fit in all the slots properly...poor design? Out of the herbs I started, only three actually came up. It's been a month.

Bad sponges
When you buy the sponges, only half of them actually work the rest mold. I actually purchased two Aero gardens: one was a slim and it also came sponges. Again, half of them molded. I ordered 50 more sponges and half of them molded. I’m trying it again As I ordered another 1 hundred and I hope all the sponges work. - a gardener for 35 years.

the harvest 360 has place for 6 pods. How can it be replaced with purchasing the see staRTING system to grow 23 pants? Is the the room for 23 plants in a system for 6?
Thank you for your interest in our products! The seed starting system is only meant to house seedlings until they are established enough to transplant outdoors. There is room for the 23 seedlings as the 6 pod grow deck lifts out so the seed starting deck can be used.
