Vine ripened, homegrown flavor year round!

The Golden Harvest Cherry Tomato Seed Pod Kit comes with everything you’ll need to grow fresh tomatoes in your AeroGarden and we’ve carefully selected varieties proven to produce. Vegetable plants require more growing space and best results are achieved when no more than three Seed Pods are planted in a 6/7 Pod garden; this Kit contains three (3) Seed Pods and four (4) Plant Spacers so your tomato plants have ample room to grow and thrive without overcrowding.

Our Heirloom Golden Harvest Tomatoes ripen to a bright yellow with a very sweet flavor. Excellent for adding color to everyday salads and they contain a lower acid content than red tomatoes.

I just harvested the last of these goldens this afternoon...and I've had these three plants going strong since I planted them in July 2013. I will try another variety next but would highly recommend this one for reliability, endurance and taste! (Posted over a month ago)

48 days after planting, I have 40-50 tiny tomatoes and half a dozen that are larger than peas. These tomato plants are not as tall as those I have grown in aerogardens in the past. I have not had to raise the height to its max. The stems are strong so I have not had to use my trellis. To get a bumper crop of tomatoes, you have to do a little extra. I use a paintbrush daily to make sure that the flowers are pollinated. You also have to add water frequently when they are in high growth mode. When I was out of town for a week, the lady who came in to feed my cats was instructed on how to add water and how to use the brush to pollinate. (I offered her one of my older aerogardens since I am replacing all of mine with the LED gardena.) I have not tasted these tomatoes yet so I will do a flavor update when they ripen. Once the tomatoes get growing, there's a nice amount of tomatoes. Takes a while to get plants mature enough to grow cherry tomatoes. I'd say it took us 5 months solid. It was worth the wait to get fresh and tasty tomatoes. Requires a lot of trimming. Plants will grow up into the lights. The plants themselves lived an average of one whole year. Which I thought was fantastic. (Posted over a month ago)
