My “Add Nutrient” light doesn’t seem to be working



The “Add Nutrient” light is controlled by a simple two-week timer that is designed to come on exactly 14 days after the "Reset" button is pressed. Whenever you press the "Reset" button, you are telling your AeroGarden that you are adding nutrients and the “Add Nutrient” timer will be reset for another two weeks.

If your “Add Nutrient” light is not coming on at two-week intervals and you are certain that no one has pressed the "Reset" button, the next step is to run the AeroGarden through a diagnostic procedure (available on most models, but not all) to make sure that the panel light itself is working.  To run the diagnostic test, press and hold the "Select" button for several seconds and then release it. This will start a test cycle during which the panel lights light up one by one in sequence, and the grow lights and pump should go off and then back on. If you discover that the "Add Nutrient" light does come on for a moment during this test, then the light itself is working and has been inadvertently reset.  If the "Add Nutrient" light does not come on for a moment during this diagnostic test, then please call AeroGrow Customer Service at 1-800-476-9669, and one of our agents will be happy to assist you. To get the "Reset" button back in sync with when your nutrients are actually due, you will need to determine the calendar date when you last added nutrients.  When the next feeding is due, add the nutrients, top up the water to the "Fill to Here" mark, and click the “Reset” button (even if it's not blinking). This will resynchronize your “Add Nutrient” light with the time that the nutrients are actually due.
