I followed the instructions from reading these reviews. Not sure what happened? I have the Bounty Elite Units. I tried to empty 2 units today. For the 1st one, I had to keep pumping it otherwise the water stopped flowing. Then, when I did the 2nd unit, it empty 1/2 tank, then, the water stopped and I could not do anything with it. If I return the siphon, it is too troublesome and have to pay for postage. I will go to a fish aquarium store to see if they have a better one. Waste of money! (Posted over a month ago)

I have a bounty elite. Every model needs to change the water?
How often? I see some people does it every 2 weeks.
Thank you (Posted over a month ago)
Customer Service Response:
Water on the Bounty, and all gardens, should be changed every 1-2 months depending on how many roots you have in the garden. A good rule of thumb is every other nutrient cycle. You will then want to do a full disinfect and clean between each new set of pods you plant.

The Bounty model has a lower corner opening for filling water...there is a possible improvement that could be made by adding an additional porthole that is large enough to accommodate the siphon. This would enable easier maneuvering during the water change process. (Posted over a month ago)
Customer Service Response:
Thank you for the great suggestion on the Bounty model. This feedback has been shared with our engineering team as we are always looking for ways to improve the ease of use of our gardens and accessories.

Was wondering if using the additional water reservoir attached, while siphoning at the same time would be enough of water change out....providing you siphon until the extra reservoir empties? (Posted over a month ago)
Customer Service Response:
Thank you for the review, we are happy to hear you enjoy our products! Yes, if you siphon until the reservoir is empty this will be a sufficient water exchange on a monthly basis for a healthy garden.

Like a few of you was here, I find that the Renzo refill siphon takes too long & hand gets super tired. This isn't what I planned for, now hat I own it. Few said here that, once you get the hang of it it'll be fine, but the truth of the matter is, AG should include specific instructions how to properly use the siphon... In this way that the product would work more efficiently. AG, please list brief instructions on the site or here on the review section of how to use the siphon dial so it will be much more helpful thank you!! (Posted over a month ago)
Customer Service Response:
Thanks for the feedback and we apologize for any inconvenience. Instructions below:

To siphon, insert the pickup tube into the liquid, close the vent valve (the white knob on top - tighten clockwise), squeeze the bulb repeatedly until liquid begins to flow down the accordion tube, and relax and let the siphon action do the work. Before removing the pickup tube from the liquid, open the vent valve (counterclockwise), and wait for all the liquid to drain from the delivery tube.

It takes time to get used to but once you figure it out a few quick pumps and the water consistently flows until empty. (Posted over a month ago)

I have used the rinse/refill siphon for about 3 years and it improves the harvest and the duration of the plants. It is easy to use, and I simply change out the water every other time I add nutrients. When the plants are growing fast, I change out every time I add nutrients. I am not sure if this stabilizes the pH, but I have found it to be a product worth the cost, time and effort. (Posted over a month ago)

In theory the siphon should work well, and indeed it might work well.

I tried yesterday but could not easily drain the water due to the thick roots within the tank. I ended up turning the tank over in the sink, with the plants resting elsewhere.

While I understand the reasoning behind having no drain (would eventually leak), it seems unnecessarily difficult to overturn the tank of water.

I understand that usually one does not wish to change the water. My reason for changing the water is I accidentally doubled the fertiliser in one tank. The plants are fine, now, after changing out the water. It has been ~2 weeks since my mistake, and all is well now.

I will try the siphon again. It was my first time using a siphon in general.

It might be possible to improve the design of the tanks, to allow for easier changing of the water. It might of course also be impossible to further improve the tanks... The tanks are very well designed, now, even with the slight difficulty of changing the water. (Posted over a month ago)
