You can't avoid this expense if you use any AeroGarden. (well, I know somebody just use regular sponge but I never tried that way). I suggest purchase SEED STARTING SYSTEM REFILL PACK instead. I had both and can confirm the sponges are the same. (Posted over a month ago)

Every single one of the sponges developed mold. I have 3 Aerogardens and if I knew this would be a problem, I wouldn't have purchased them. It's not user error because I didn't have this problem before. Obviously bad batch.

Thank you for your feedback. A green algae can occur on a pod if a seed does not germinate in a certain amount of time as the pods are working with warm light and water. To have this happen on a large number of pods would not be normal, and our customer service team will be happy to speak with you about settings and replacements to improve your experience.

Isto é muito importante e com este pacote de 50 unidades fica ainda melhor pois o preço é ótimo (This is very important and with this pack of 50 units is even better because the price is great)
